Our client is one of the world's major energy companies, with a strong presence in 70 countries; the Luxembourgish team is composed of around 10 persons. In order to pursue with their activities, we are currently looking for a Territory Manager (m/w).

This role sits within the Sales & Operations organization in Retail Belux. You will report to the Belux District Manager and will be in charge of the non highway sites in Luxemburg. This role is a sales position driven by the following KPI's: Volume, Margin, Cost Management and Operational Excellence.

Amongst your responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper support in the Territory under the role's responsibility of the promotions and shop planograms
  • Understand the competitors offer
  • Foster entrepreneurship of retailers by ensuring they can contribute to increasing profitability. Either by proper cost decreases or growing Shop business and Fuel
  • Convenience Retail shop sales versus target and respect planograms
  • Negotiate business plans in line with target and in time
  • Support prospecting team
  • Effectively use of performance management tools
  • Set up and be in charge of weekly touch base calls with the retailer
  • Ensure in discussion with retailers and staff that HSSE is high on their agenda and ensure they adapt a proactive behavior when it comes to safety of their site


Requirements:

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Proven professional experience in Retail Sales and Operations in Luxembourg
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Knowledge on, or experience in the fuel business is a strong asset
  • Commercial and Customer orientation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Team spirit and ability to work independently
  • Fluent in French, Luxembourgish and German
  • Good knowledge of English, spoken and written
  • Residing in Luxembourg
