About our client
Our client is a fast changing and at times challenging company. They are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to supervise the accounting department.
Job description
- You supervise the accounting staff
- You are responsible for all accounting functions for the two legal entities in Luxembourg and one in The
Netherlands
- You manage the Accounts payable an the General Ledger
- You are responsible for the monthly closing and the balance sheet analysis
- You are responsible for the intercompany reconciliations
- You manage all the Statutory and Tax reporting notably the quarterly reporting in USGAAP
- You are in charge of the Treasury and cash management with a weekly cash reporting
- You will report directly to the CFO of the Luxembourg entity
- You are responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with fiscal authorities, banks and statutory auditors
Who we are looking for
- You have a University degree in either accounting, finance or economics,
- You have a minimum of 5 years general technical, hands-on experience with financial accounting and statutory reporting in an international environment
- You must have a hands on and highly proactive approach to work
- You are able to liaise with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds
- You are able to manage a team and to deliver a high quality of work
- You are result oriented
- You are entrepreneurial and autonomous
- You have a high level of English language skill both written and spoken, other European languages a plus
