Our client is an international Bank. For their operations in Luxembourg we are seeking to recruit an Internal Auditor
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate all internal controls
- Verify the application of the procedures and instructions in compliance with local and international regulatory guidelines
- Good knowledge of counterparty risk
- Verify and evaluate the credit engagements
- Review the quality of the accounting and financial activity
- Evaluate the security of the informatics system
- Give recommendations when necessary
- Communicate with the team, share knowledge in order to manage the risk and the deliver a good quality of work
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Accounting / Finance or similar discipline (University Degree Bac +4/5 or equivalent )
- 5-7 years experience banking sector and/ or in audit ( at least 2-3 years experience in Internal Audit)
- Knowledge of Basel II
- Good capacity of writing reports
- Good knowledge of investments and /or insurance sector would be a plus
- Good understanding of the risk approach
- Accurate, conscientious and detail oriented
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Very fluent French, good in English, German would be a plus
- Flexible and available to travel
