Robert Half recruits, on behalf of one of its worldwide clients, a Financial Controller (M/F) for its Global Finance team, working in partnership with other departments and the business.
You’ll be responsible for performing the accounting entries and financial reporting activities, process entries for the royalties and distributions, the R&D cost sharing and other intercompany arrangements.
In the long term, this role is expected to lead to a supervisory position. The successful candidate will gradually be trained for a management role.
Your role
• Process intercompany transactions and ensure appropriate documentation
• Be in charge of the Cash Management
• Prepare federal reporting, management reports, financial forecasting and KPIs
• Assist with the preparation of legal entity financial statements based on US GAAP
• Prepare LUXGAAP financial statements and assist with statutory audit requirements
• Assist the tax group
• Provide local support to the business, for mergers or new acquisitions
• Assist with entity system migrations
Your profile
• You are a Chartered Accountant and/or holding a degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. You will have more than 4 years of finance experience, including year end closing and analysis experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and LUX GAAP. IFRS knowledge is an asset
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory. German would be a plus
• Ability to work independently, multi-tasking to establish priorities, and completing objectives with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
• Proven ability to perform under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office applications along with hands on experience in Great Plains, SAP, Cognos
