Head of Accounting Department (M/F)
Robert Half is working exclusively with our client, a global player in the trust services industry, seeks a Head of Accounting Department M/F with passion and expertise to join this international team based in their rapidly expanding Luxembourg office.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate a team of 3 people in charge of accounting and controlling
• Support individual staff growth and development
• Supervise and review the accounting of the various entities of the group
• Be in charge of monthly closing, preparation of the financial statements and both financial as well as operational reporting to the HQ
• Prepare management reports
• Offer strategic recommendations to top management
• Design and improve any required processes
• Be the main contact of the third parties, especially external auditors
Your profile:
• Master in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and/or controlling, preferably in a similar environment
• Relevant managerial experience is required
• Fluency in English
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being solution and services oriented, as well as assertive
