Our client is one of the leading ICT companies based in three continents which specialises in e-payment solutions. Due to their ongoing development, they are currently looking for a Product Development Manager.
Your Mission:
• Maintaining a good technical understanding of the company's products and solutions
• Creating products and full payment systems made up of client, EMV terminals, networks and bank systems.
• Advising on technical aspects and working with a variety of systems including embedded systems
• Working with third party software integrators, suppliers and developers
• All aspects within the classic product/project lifecycle i.e. planning, risk analysis, milestones etc…
• Supporting the Quality Assurance teams for any bank certifications
• Providing handover support including pilots and initial second line support
• Advise business of new technology, terminals etc…
Your Profile:
The role requires a wide scope of technical knowledge and ability to apply this knowledge in different circumstances when solutions are needed fast.
• Linux (basic administration), Java
• SQL, My SQL
• TCP/IP, WinSock, excellent understanding of networking
• UML (state charts, use cases, activity and sequence diagrams)
• Software development lifecycle, Software testing lifecycle
• WinXP, VMWare environment, setup and administration
• ISO8583, ISO7816, EMV (Credit Card Industry Skills)
A strong development background and understanding is desirable because the level of complexity of the solutions that will be tested is quite high.
Additional Knowledge/Skills:
• Apache administration, Tomcat administration
• C#, VB.NET, VB6.0
• Good communication and user document writing skills (English mandatory)
• Two years diploma in IT
• Prince or other Project Management certifications
