One of our historic and flexible Law Firm clients based here in Luxembourg wants to engage an autonomous and technically gifted qualified Lawyer to their varied commercial practice at a ‘supervisory/senior’ level. This particular partnership offers a ‘quality-of-life, and quality-of-work’ which is envied by many in the market, while can also support you in the development of a chosen commercial specialism ..... thus the Partners willing to invest in someone with a vision and development orientation to assist with the growth of the practice business !
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Working in a frontline capacity with a strong portfolio of ‘clients’ on a regular basis, the opportunity to build links with commercial businesses and key figures in industry is on offer, while the outline of the role will provide you the chance to:

THE ROLE:
You will be tasked with providing active advice on corporate and commercial transactions concerning traditional Luxembourg Corporate matters, though will also be asked to:
•Provide guidance and mentoring services to junior members of staff
•Develop client relationships on a regular basis
•Formalise the firms development strategy and have real input to the future of the practice
•Ensure high quality legal output is provided within the client expectations (i.e. practical advice which the client can easily interpret and implement)
•Develop marketing activities such as networking opportunities, development trips, publications, wider media commentary, etc
THE REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be considered the best fit for this opportunity, you will have to:
•Be entrepreneurial, commercial, and client-focussed within your approach to the legal marketplace
•Have a positive, credible, and team orientated outlook to the working environment
•Demonstrate practical corporate/commercial experience in Luxembourg matters which could allow you to act confidently when managing teams within wide-ranging transactions (upwards of 5 years of qualified experience expected)
•Have strong linguistic abilities and relevant qualifications allowing you to practice law within the Luxembourg jurisdiction – including practical experience in, and confidence when, drafting and advising in English and French on Luxembourgish Corporate matters
