THE OPPORTUNITY:
We have been instructed exclusively to source an established, competent, and entrepreneurial Senior Corporate Associate to join a recent addition to the Luxembourg Law Firm marketplace – a firm which is:
- prestigious and internationally renowned allowing You to work closely with top-tier clients on high profile matters – meaning the quality of Your files will be of a challenging and high level nature, while the trust/relationships which You quickly build with clients is held in the highest of regard by all members of the firm
and at the same time
- niche enough and with a management style which allows You to benefit from a great work-life balance and the ability to retain local-autonomy in the jurisdictional office – so You will be able to take control of client matters and situations which make commercial sense in Luxembourg with the full support and backing of international colleagues

THE ROLE:
Working directly with a strong portfolio of existing clients and also tasked with building deeper links within this client portfolio for the Luxembourg office, this opportunity on offer will allow You the chance to utilise both your high level technical skills and sound knowledge, while more practically:
OUTPUT:
- Advise a range of the firms’ prestigious clients and provide quality legal ‘solutions’ for individual and institutional files - thus providing you with daily variety in clients and instructions
- Establish corporate vehicles, alternative investment fund structures, joint ventures agreements, and other viable commercial solutions for clients with an interest in the benefits of Luxembourg – giving you the ability to be creative with your advice and solutions
SUPERVISORY:
- Manage own matters/files and client portfolio ensuring internal profitability and external satisfaction – therefore building your commercial acumen
- Achieve efficient time management and the commercial utilisation of resources (including staff) in order to continue and build success – allowing you to have a strategic input to the office
- Contribute to the training and development of junior Associates as required – thus providing you an avenue to use your motivational and knowledge-sharing skills.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
- Play an active part of the commercial planning of the office here in Luxembourg – Your ideas will have a real impact
- Strategically planning and participating in client relation and generation meetings – international prospects included in this
- Take ownership of building and maintaining productive working relationships with clients – allowing you direct contact at all times

THE REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be considered the best fit for this prominent career opportunity, you will have to:
- Be entrepreneurial and client-focussed within your professional approach to fit with the ethos of the firm
- Have a positive, credible, and commercial outlook to the business environment in order to work well with international colleagues and high profile clients
- Demonstrate practical corporate / private equity / fund structuring experience c.4 to c.7 years in Luxembourg matters which could allow you to act confidently when managing clients and junior staff within wide-ranging transactions
- Have a pragmatic, honest, and commercial way of building trust quickly and effectively for the long-term success of a firm
