The Opportunity
Dare to strive for an out-of-the-ordinary opportunity as an experienced Commercial IN-HOUSE LAWYER. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the ambitious international expansion of an entrepreneurial group active in the rapidly growing alternative energy sector.
The Responsibilities
The appointment will be a group level function based in Luxembourg reporting directly to the Shareholders as well as functionally to the local Finance Manager.
The successful candidate will provide counsel for a wide variety of matters, both domestic and international, including commercial contracts, acquisitions, corporate secretarial tasks, litigation and compliance. A first exposure to various international legal systems is desirable (EU countries, Switzerland, North America…).
One key responsibility will relate to Luxembourg legal matters, including dealing with corporate, regulatory, compliance and governance issues regarding the entities as well as the contractual drafting and reviewing of advisory, loan, service or employment agreements.
The main responsibility will cover international legal matters by providing legal advice regarding acquisitions and related financing agreements, acting as a key-coordinator with external attorneys (international and local) and shareholders and taking a lead in special projects.
The Competencies:
•You have gathered extensive experience in a law firm and / or in-house position providing legal advice on international corporate and commercial issues
•You think entrepreneurial and commercial with a strong quest for solutions
•You have excellent communication, presentation and negotiations skills
•You work well independently and as part of a team
•You are organised with high attention to detail
•You demonstrate high flexibility and appropriate understanding of working in a small and dynamic international team
•You are fluent in French and English
