Are you an ambitious and technically skilled Accounting Manager who dreams of working autonomously and having the potential to become a supervisor of a growing team?
Are you ready to perform all accounting entries and financial reporting activities for several entities based in Europe?
If so, my client is looking for a Accounting Manager like you to assist with their ongoing growth!
Your Responsibilities
On a daily basis within a mid-sized team, you will be responsible for:
•Processing all intercompany transactions and ensuring appropriate documentation
•Cash Management for all entities
•Preparing federal reporting, management reports, financial forecasting and KPIs
•Assisting with the preparation of legal entity financial statements based on US GAAP
•Preparing local GAAP financial statements and assisting with statutory audit requirements
•Providing local support to the business for mergers or new acquisitions and tax issues
•Assisting with entity system migrations
Your Competencies
In order for you to gain this exciting opportunity for your next career step, you will need to have:
•A Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting / Finance in order to have the basic theoretical knowledge to be an active team member
•Gained at least 5 years experience in an equivalent function, including year- end closing and analysis experience
•Strong understanding of US GAAP and LUX GAAP. IFRS knowledge is an asset
•Fluency in English and French is mandatory. German language is a plus
•Ability to work independently, multi-tasking to establish priorities, and completing objectives with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
•A personality to take on initiatives, solve many problems in order to accomplish your objectives
•Proven ability to perform under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
•Detail oriented, organized and strong analytical skills
•Proficient in MS Office applications along with hands on experience in Great Plains, SAP, Cognos
•Finance or Cognos Powerplay
