We are looking to hire a legal Secretary with 1-4 years' relevant experience.

THE ROLE

In the role as a Secretary for DLA Piper you will be responsible for providing general secretarial and administrative assistance to the lawyers and other stakeholders, and help them to give great service to clients and achieve the overall goal of being the leading global business law firm.  We are looking for a professional who is passionate about assisting stakeholders. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with the secretarial team provide a comprehensive secretarial and personal assistant support to stakeholders
  • Assist the lawyers with the management of files and company registers
  • Proactively manage, maintain and coordinate fee earners calendars
  • Organise meetings, events and travels for the lawyers and other stakeholders
  • Liaise with a wide range of internal stakeholders and clients
  • Assist in managing the lawyers’ time entry and billings, new business intake requests, and general file organisation and maintenance

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Relevant experience as a Secretary/PA in a corporate environment. Law environment is a big plus
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft office software pages
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Native speaker French with good command of English. German is an asset
  • Highly organised, detail oriented with good planning skills
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and an energetic and committed approach to your day-to-day duties
  • You are a great team player who can work calmly under pressure
  • Proactive and problem solving attitude
