Trade and Transaction Officer German/English (M/F)
Your mission:
The tasks of the Trade and Transaction Operator include technical, transactional and logistical contributions to the management team to ensure that the bank maintains a reasonable balance between quality, flexibility, control and cost. This is achieved by working closely with all business units and departments in an environment that ensures maximum control and minimal operational risk while providing excellent customer service.
The Trade and Transaction Operator acts as an expert for internal partners, external customers and within a larger market to improve market processes and platforms. The Trade and Transaction Operator manages and builds partnerships between internal business units to ensure that the Bank's business objectives are met, operational controls and external regulations are met, and the Bank's technology platforms continue to improve. He focuses on new business initiatives and works closely with his team to ensure a full operational readiness for products ranging from high volume trading products to highly complex structured transactions.
Regulatory changes and an ever-evolving business environment mean that the Trade and Transaction Operator must continually provide input and creative, innovative solutions to ensure efficiency and protect the bank and its shareholders.
Your profile:
Experience / Professional experience:
• Relevant experience in custodian business, in particular in the settlement of payment transactions, share transactions and currency orders.
• Mastery of technical settlement systems, in particular a high level of understanding of technical and manual accounting procedures.
• Basic analytical skills, flexibility in solving problems in the production environment, especially in case of daily business disruptions.
• Excellent communication skills, very good knowledge of the English language and, if necessary, the national language spoken and written
• Excellent teamwork and ability to work in virtual global teams and in a matrix organization
• Ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment, keep up with technical innovation, and understand the GBS offering in general
• Open-mindedness and the ability to exchange information and provide expertise and competence within the team
Education / Certification:
• Completed (bank) commercial training
• Secure use of MS Office
• Very good German and English skills
• A very conscientious and independent way of working
• Above average commitment and team player qualities
